Matt works as a freelance journalist and has broad experience in the production of focussed press releases for a range of media.

Matt also provides journalist services as a conference media coordinator, producing media alerts, media releases, and providing followup services and media liaison to ensure maximum media and news  exposure, in print, radio and TV news. Results include coverage on national radio (ABC), state-based TV news (ABC,7, Ten), print (Queensland Country Life, Courier Mail, regional papers) and internet news outlets (Australia and the USA).

In addition, Matt makes use of his media networks to gain best exposure for your media releases.

As part of his role with the Queensland Department of Primary Industries, Matt wrote dozens of press releases on diverse subjects including: biotechnology, farmhouse cheese-making, agronomy issues, plant breeding, marketing (agricultural and small business), spatial analysis, conference items, entomology, plant and animal pathology and Ministerial releases.

Other experience with media includes working as editor of a community newspaper and journalist with the Toowoomba Chronicle (Qld). He also worked as a freelance journalist suppling articles to a range of national magazines and selected broadsheet newspapers.
