At last, shopping for groceries online

It seems that placing your order for groceries online then merely dropping by the supermarket to have it loaded into your boot is becoming a reality.
Springwise reports that in France this can now be done, and it does not cost any more than traditional shopping methods.
The service is sure to be a boon for mothers of small children as well as customers who can struggle with heavey trolleys.
In fact a smart operator could set up a semi automated system, similar to the way supermarket orders are put together at the warehouse so that rapid picking and packing can be accomplished.
Here in Australia, however, we still wait for online grocery shopping from the major grocery retailers to be available in every capital city, with the choice of pickup or delivery.
