The value of shortcode phone numbers for business has long been recognised. This is especially the case when you have a numeric/alpha combination such as 13QUIT or 13NAVY etc.
Like any marketing it is worthwhile have all avenues covered and in the case of 13, 1300 and 1800 numbers, this now means the capacity to accept text messages to you number/s.
