The Mobile Technology Weblog: Say Goodbye to In-flight Mobile Use…For Now
What a load of bumph I say. Maybe yes ban them if they interfere with navigation or other flight required controls, (but technology from company ON Air is dealing with that) but to say that mobiles should be banned because of some terrorist threat?
The only real threat is damned ringtones and people talking loudly.

The only problem I have is that all the reasons are a bunch of bollocks. But at the same time, I am extremely happy that mobile phones are not allowed on plane flights. It’s bad enough on the bus, so at least I can get some shuteye and better deal with jetlag. Now if we could only ban those annoying flight captain’s announcements…
