What a load of bumph I say. Maybe yes ban them if they interfere with navigation or other flight required controls, (but technology from company ON Air is dealing with that) but to say that mobiles should be banned because of some terrorist threat?

The only real threat is damned ringtones and people talking loudly.

Web on mobile phones set to explode

I saw this short article on the emarketer website. It is a big indication of where the ‘web’ is expanding into. For us in Australia, we are still being retarded by high data charges imposed by the telcos. No doubt this will change in time.

If you have business with exposure to the USA however, mobile web could be worth a hard look….

More than four in 10 US mobile users surveyed say they will look at handsets with high Internet capabilities when buying their next phone, according to The Kelsey Group‘s “Mobile Market View” study, conducted with ConStat.
