An article on CNET says the mobile phone is the most important piece of technology produced in the last 25 years, according to a well-known IBM software developer. The article quotes Sam Ruby, who is currently a senior technical staff member at IBM’s emerging technologies group, said mobile phones outstrip even the PC in terms of effect on the world.Ruby said the mobile would become even more important as gadgets for navigation, search and entertainment.
